Home Staging Tips Part 3

Here are a few staging tips for your kitchen. This is a REALLY important room when it comes to selling your house, so make sure it is very clean and free of clutter.

The Kitchen:

  • Replace outdated light fixtures
  • Clean or repair grout and broken tiles
  • Replace outdated appliances
  • Really clean your sink or replace it with a new one
  • Wash curtains, buy new ones or just take them down
  • Replace outdated flooring or have it buffed so it shines
  • If your sink has a constant drip, fix it with a new washer
  • Clean stove and oven
  • Remove wallpaper and paint walls a nuetral color
  • Paint dark cabinets white
  • Clean inside and outside of refrigerator, put a box of baking soda inside
  • Clear the top of the refrigerator and take off magnets and papers
  • Clear off counters of any papers or appliances
