How Dogs Can Give Back To The Community.
Or, how the creative development process can go a-stray.
I think it’s vital for a business to include philanthropic efforts in its marketing plans, which has had me thinking about what The Pet Set might be able to develop.
Yes, we support great organizations such as The National Disaster Search Dog Foundation and Puppies Behind Bars , but I would like us to do more, and I would like to build a program that is exclusively Pet Set.
As I was looking around my dog’s canine pantry, it dawned on me that he has more food than we do. So do many American domestic dogs. We spend thousands of dollars as a country feeding our dogs.
Then, the lightbulb moment! What if we could initiate a project that was dedicated to dogs feeding hungry children.
I know, pretty neat, huh?
Oh…one snag. How are we ever be able to convince people that we weren’t giving dog food to children?
This is what I mean when I express here that one of the down sides to owning your own business is that you have no one with whom to share your ideas…and no one who can tell you how lame your ideas are sometimes.
Anyway, until I can come up with an intelligent and logical campaign…The Pet Set will continue to donate to deserving and respected animal causes.
