How Facebook Has Saved my Sanity

Have I told all of you how much I love Facebook yet? Well, I do. It has literally (okay, not literally) saved my sanity.

Most of you probably know that I suffer from the AJ, Stay at Home Mama Blues. I think some of you probably do too (insert own child’s name). I think that the day AJ entered my life all of my friends jumped ship. Were they scared of him or scared of me in my track suit and frazzled hair?  pajamas and slippers at 3 p.m. with my bottle of Excederin, and duct tape?

You all know that I would never duct tape AJ…that was for the lamp he broke, come on!

But seriously…

Having no social life really takes it’s toll on motherhood and Facebook has given that back to me. I no longer simply have virtual friends I have high school, grade school, and even pre-school friends who live just around the corner from me (yes, and I have no idea!). Sharing coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening is a life-saver.

Ok, ok, you have convinced me… I’ll give it a try. Dan just started last week and he’s making all kinds of connections too….

I hear you. Finally I got going on Facebook…and so glad I did. Wow – like a major reunion, virtually. Lots of fun surprises. Especially for gypies such as myself. =)
