Unless someone is really going off about how "beautiful/thin/perfect" I am, I just don't argue anymore. If it's someone close, I've managed to come to "well that's really nice but just an FYI, no matter how much you tell me, you won't convince me to see myself the way you see me." I feel like it's somewhat rude, but no one can change the way I see myself, no matter how hard they try. I’ve gotten to the point where I just ignore it all.
