How to be a perfect mother-in-law

At some point in our lives, we are all going to face the fact that we are going to be a mother-in-law to a new son or daughter. I for one want to be the best I can be. For my daughter-in law to be, she’s going to have to compete with my cooking! Now that is going to be tough.

Okay, that was a joke. I can’t cook if my life depended on it. No, wait… I can make a mean grilled cheese sandwich, but that’s about it! But I have a list all set for when it happens to me…

#1 I won’t forget or ignore her birthday… ever.
#2 I will do my best to treat her as a member of the family… because that’s exactly what she will be.
#3 I won’t offer advice unless I am asked.

I have about a zillion more, but you see where I’m going with this.

Now for my son-in-law, I the list is pretty much the same, but this is my daughter we are talking about.

Babylune is covering the topic too. Go over and pick up a few more tips.
