How To: Flubber

A perfect rainy day activity for summer fun. Remember the movie,  Flubber? Head to your local movie store or better yet, have it on hand…

After watching the movie with the kids make the famous Flubber.

In two separate bowls mix the following –

Bowl 1: 3/4 cup warm water, 1 cup Elmers glue, food coloring;

Bowl 2: 2 tsp Borax, 1/2 cup warm water Make sure that both bowls are mixed well and that the Borax is dissolved.

Combine Bowl 2 into Bowl 1 and mix . Reach into the bowl and pull out the flubber, leaving any excess liquid. Work the flubber with your hands for 2 to 3 minutes.

Materials Needed: Borax, glue, water, food color (optional)
