I got an email from Terry a few weeks ago pointing me to his post over at Kineda. First reaction to the email was “what’s so special about these steps on getting the man of your dreams?” Silly me, right? Of course, for you guys who aren’t with the man of your dreams, you are out there waiting-slash-looking for him right this very moment!

/slaps my forehead

So, I went ahead and checked it out earlier (sorry for the delay, Terry!) and can you guess what else I found out upon checking? An honest-to-goodness fun and informative read!

Terry suggested to take the following 5 Steps to Getting the Man of Your Dreams:

  • Step 1 – Venture Out
  • Step 2 – Catch His Attention
  • Step 3 – The Chase
  • Step 4 – Don’t Forget Who You Are
  • Step 5 – Together Forever

If you want to know just how these steps work, I recommend that you head on over there and read up on Terry’s post. It’ll be worth it! :D

That is an interesting post, though if ladies are looking for men at Star Wars conventions, go ahead and save youself the embarrassment of dressing as Princess Leah and just go door to door in random neighborhoods.

You’ll find guys just as interesting eating potato chips on the couch and watching t.v.

Power: I’m sure a lot of guys out there are interesting but if a woman decides to go to a geeky convention and be geeky herself I reckon that would give her more chances of meeting someone that suits her cuz perhaps dressing up as Princess Leah would help her find her own Hans Solo (it’s no more embarrassing than, say, a corrupt politician claiming he is serving his country while the rest of the world remains hungry and homeless) than knocking on some random door to find a couch potato, which is not really her cup of tea. Boils down to preferences, really. :)
