How to get the money to replace windows and doors!

So you want to replace your windows and doors but don’t have the money to do it and can’t seem to get it together in your savings account. Well for most of us this seems to be the case, like really who can save up 7500 to do this kind of work now a days.

Well depending on where you live you are in luck. Most utility company’s offer some kind of financing plan based on your account with them which means that even if you have bad credit but are always on time with your utility bill then you have a good chance of getting your windows and doors. The lower amount of energy consumed the better it is for the utility company’s and our environment so there is usually some sort of simple financing around and the best place to find that out is with your utility supplier.

At worst there is almost always some sort of rebate plan you can apply for to help lower the costs of your project and make sure before you go ahead with the work and while your still in the planning stages you  check out what is available to you as a home owner. You can ask your contractor about rebate programs as most of them know about them as they use them as a tool to help sell the jobs and if they don’t call you city planning department, they will know for sure!
