How To Make Japanese Folded Flowers

I have to admit – I’ve never heard of the Japanese art of folded fabric flowers, or “Tsumami Kanzashi ” – before.  It’s most commonly used to create lovely and intricate traditional flower ornaments that are worn in the hair.

I definitely want to try this out now – how many ways can you think of using those flowers?  I can sure think of a few ways…
