How To: Rainy Day Cave Play

Rainy days are the worst in my house so we have to try and make the best of the rain, especially when it is too cold to go splash in mud puddles. When AJ has school in the afternoon it can make for either a disasterous morning or a fun playful morning…depending upon his mood (and mine, of course).

Monday’s around our house are usually reserved for the mass load of laundry but if it is rainy outside I can usually spare a few dirty (or clean) sheets for cave play in the family room basement. Unfortunately, since he does not have siblings yet it also means that I have to get on my hands and knees and have Bear Tea Parties with him and the dog.
