It seems like not just ordinary citizens are working hard so as to help lessen their carbon footprints. Even big companies are doing their share in helping out in combating global warming and climate change.

Recently, giant company HP has announced that they would be moving on towards reducing its carbon footprint by tapping renewable energy as their source of power. They furthermore announced that solar power would be the main source of energy for their upcoming data center in San Diego while they would be using wind power for their buildings and facilities in Ireland.

Moreover, the company disclosed that they are looking at around $750,000 savings with such a move and this amount they would be able to save in a span of 15 years of using renewable energy on the mentioned facilities. HP also said that by using renewable energy, they would be able to help lessen the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of about 16 million pounds for the same 15 years.
