Huh?

Have y’all ever have a day going just fine,  then out of the blue, things are not the same.  Either another person says something which creates a disconnect, or it just happens.

Now granted we are under a number of stressors currently, time being at the root of most of them.

Since the docs have told me I can’t drive for a period of time it has really loused up Marye’s schedule, She has to drive me to & from work.  I am not driving our son Matt to and from classes at the Community college. He is now taking drivers ed every night…more driving…  She has to drop what she’s doing to drive me to the VA, or all of us to Royal Rangers/ M-pact Girls on Monday night.  Then Thursday night Sean has to be at church for JBQ (Junior Bible Quiz) practice.  Fit in Groceries, errands I used to do etc…  Needless to say it is understandable she has alot of stress timewise.

And these are things on top of her regular daily tasks.

Then we have our sexual stresses due to my medicines and or my alleged conversion disorder, which came up as another dr. was looking at my medical notes from a medical quack.. Marye and I disagree with everything he has said.  The conversion disorder the VA doc was referring to my seizure disorder.  They believe the conversion seems to possibly be the reason I’m sick so I don’t have to have sex. I don’t think that is true.

Marye & I have discussed it and I told her at coffee the other day when I have my mental health appointment I am bringing this up with my Dr to lay it to rest or deal with it once & for all.

This second was brought in to see a number of people at our church.  I’m sorry,  I was disappointed to say the least.    And it was a bad couple of days to follow.

Today, I don’t know what is going on.  This morning it was feeling like I had done something wrong.   The silence has been deafening.  It probably is just me.

Marye even asked late this afternoon if I was okay.   It probably is just me.

So as my Title to my rambling said,

I have been married 28 years and I can say that all marriages go through times when one spouse is carrying the majority of the load. The time will come when the roles will be reversed and you will be the one. Keep the lines of communication wide open. Make sure to let her know how much you appreciate/love her. Let him know how much you support/love him.

I will keep you both in my prayers. Remember there is always a rainbow after the storm.

    Take care of each other.
