I Luv Cellulite

Okay, that’s a total lie. I don’t like cellulite at all. It drives me bonkers and I wish I could eradicate it forever from my derriere and upper thighs.
However, an interesting thought occurred to me as I showered this morning, trying not to hate my body while simultaneously being driven to distraction by the “dimples” that aren’t cute when you’re 36. (They’re adorable when you’re 6 months, however.)
WHAT IF CELLULITE IS NORMAL?
Dear god. It’s so simple, isn’t it?
What if that’s true? What if our obsession has all been a marketing ploy, a plot by evil snake oil sales people who want us to part with our hard-earned buckaroos in order to smooth out the unsmoothable?
Have we been taken for a collective “ride” for decades? Are we just perpetuating a myth? Could it be that cellulite is as natural as breathing, as hair color, as length of earlobes?

This is one of your best posts have ever read here, Angelique.
This is a very important issue.
Congratulations!!!!
