See, I won’t build a whole house out of these, but I really wouldn’t mind seeing someone else do it.
What’s the homebuilding item you need, but never knew you needed?
How cool would my son think I was if I did build a house out of these? Pretty darn cool. Check them out as a ground cover:

Am I slightly concerned that some college kids, after a few too many will come along, and take me up on the dare – actually yes, I am a little. Luckily, although believe me, I knew plenty of friends when I was younger, who would have tried to take the dare, they never would have been able to pull together so much money. If you do happen to try building a Gameboy house though, I will be sorely upset if you forget to send me pictures.

Now that’s funny. I’m going to have to send this article to my girlfriend. Her two kids are both Gameboy fanatics.
Maybe your girlfriend will get them some! The site’s pretty cool too, I guess some bricks exploded until the guy learned to make them correctly.
At EUR 10,00 ($15.67 USD) apiece and EUR 22,80 ($35.94 USD) for shipping to the US, methinks they will be little more than a novelty item unless one has a LOT more money than brains or someone gets rights to make ‘em in the U.S. and can get enough people interested in buying ‘em to generate some MAJOR economies of scale.
I will say that as a LOLCats fan, I loved comment #115: “IM IN UR GROUND PLAYING UR GAMEBOYS”.
I know; they’re expensive, but, I’ve seen people build out of some truly kooky and overpriced items, why not these – and yeah, the comments were way fun, but odd.
