I Heart Chocolates!
What’s the food item that’s always used in many cultures as a profession of love?
Chocolates! Rich, luscious, melt-in-your mouth chocolates. So this love-month of February, go ahead, give the gift of antioxidants. It’s good for the heart, figuratively and literally. Not convinced? Browse through my previous entries on the health benefits of chocolate, particularly dark chocolates. And for an extra jolt, see if the powers of chili-chocolate combo works for you.

A colleague and I tried a new chocolate bar today, and I don’t mean the kind that’s wrapped. At Biagio Fine Chocolate in Washington, DC’s, Dupont Circle, we sampled everything from light milk chocolates to bars with 99% cacao concentration. I still remember a catchphrase one one of the boxes — Couture Cocoa. I’d all but given up on chocolate bars outside of Vosges in NYC, but I was pleasantly surprised by the mixture of flavors so close to home. Good chocolate, REAL chocolate, makes everything else pale in comparison.
Wow, that’s an awesome find, TJ! Thanks for popping by!
Yes, I 2nd Bagio in DC. One of the local chocolatier’s caramels are insanely delicious, J. Chocolatier.
