I Tried Fingerling Potatoes

Have you tried any of those fingerling potatoes? I had the opportunity to try some from the Mountain King company. They sent me 2-two pound bags of mixed potatoes, along with recipes. Each bag contains a combination of Rose Finn Apple, Russian Banana, French Fingerling, and Princess Laratte potatoes.
The potatoes are smaller than the usual baking potatoes, with a slim shape, very much like a “finger.”
They cook up quicker, since they are smaller. I cut them into coins and roasted them as a side dish. My family liked the potatoes. The flavor was good, but I will probably purchase red potatoes if given the choice. I find the red potatoes more adaptable and I love having them baked. I did enjoy trying a new type of potato. I’m of the opinion that they are no bad potato dishes.
If you’d like to learn more about the potatoes, you can visit the Mountain King website. They have an extensive list of recipes that utilize the fingerlings.
