I Wined Up Good!
Imagine me dancing a little jig. Okay, stop.
I didn’t ask for anything wine related. Kitchen stuff, yes. And some I got, including a salad spinner and a Crème Brûlée kit which BK and I each unknowingly bought for the other. But there were some fun wine surprises: a Longaberger wine cooler basket, a theme apron, and a bottle of Domaine Drouhin Pinot Noir I seemed to have misplaced—along with some other fun little treats. I also received the George M. Taber book about the Judgment of Paris that could come in handy for an upcoming blogging project.
And even though things don’t seem to have slowed down much at work, I’m going to try to catch up on my writing and share the yummy dishes and successful pairings of the past few days….

Hey Farley
He made a stop here in Virginia too.
Merry Christmas!! Looks like santa definitely hit your house!
You will like the Judgement of Paris book, I got it last year and really enjoyed the read.
See ya
John
I got a half liter bottle of 2000 Geisenheimer Kläuserweg Riesling Spätlese from a group of my students. We drank it with our vegetarian feast on Christmas Eve. It was perfect.
John, I guess I was better than I thought this year.
Kate, I envy you your access to Riesling…. Sounds delicious.
