According to Manitoba Merv – Canada’s great weather forcasting groundhog – spring is coming early this year.

This is great news to most of the country who has been experiencing terrible white out snow storms, and unbelievably low temperatures.  I believe last week, parts of the country have seen temps as low as -50 celsius.

So what can we expect: warmer temperatures, pretty flowers, lots of rain, hay fever, allergies, less depression, better fruits and vegetables in our supermarkets, clean sidewalks, and the appearance of small animals (such as skunks and squirrels) and the ice cream man.  I don’t know about the rest of you, but springtime is definitely a better season than winter, for me.

Oh and if you live in the US – too bad, six more weeks of winter.  Sigh!  Y’all are welcome to move to Canada though- land of the early spring!
