If You’re Obese 30 Minutes A Day May Not Be Enough

A recent article at TIME.com says that new research is saying that the previous advice that 30 minutes 5 days a week of moderate to intense exercise may not be enough. As if people needed more reason not to exercise, the new standard is 55 minutes.

Finding time is hard enough for a lot of people and an added 25 minutes doesn’t make things any easier, right? Wrong! You have to make time. If it means waking up 30 minutes earlier to compensate, then that is what you need to do. I don’t like getting up any earlier than I have to, but if sacrificing a little laziness means possibly adding some time on to my life then that’s what I need to do.

But there are always those people that say “I’m going to die sooner or later, so why bother?” If that’s the case then you might as well be careless in everything that you do such as driving, handling firearms, unsafe sex, etc. You’re going to die sooner or later so who cares, right? Might as well not give a crap and just do whatever you want, how you want and when you want. Don’t worry about the way it effects your loved ones and society. They’re gonna die sooner or later too, so why bother?

But seriously, I hate that statement. “I’m-gonna-die-sooner-or-later.” That’s one of the stupidest statements. Why not go for the later? You can live for today by not making it harder on yourself tomorrow.
