IKEA Children’s Bedroom Furniture

When you think of IKEA, children’s bedroom furniture may not be the first thing that comes to mind, but after you check out the kids’ section and see all the cute little furniture and accessories, it probably will be. Every time I wander through the kid’s section I want to redecorate my house. The furniture is sturdy, unobtrusive and inexpensive and their decorating ideas are so fun and colorful.

The organizing stuff is so functional and easy to assemble and you can now choose pink or white bins as well as the original orange and lime green options.

Oh, and have you seen the fabrics covered in cars and other whimsical designs? They’re ideal for an infant’s cozy little nursery. The little car rug they just came out with is super cute, too.

But the best thing may just be that the child’s mattress and bed that the store carries is different than the size of a standard toddler bed. This is perfect for parents who are wondering how to squeeze a standard twin size bed into a small bedroom after their child has outgrown the crib size mattress that was on the toddler bed. Those extra inches can buy a few years of time while parents work to turn an attic into additional bedroom space, put an addition on the home, or move to a larger house.

Are you a big fan of IKEA’s kids furniture?
