Illuminate Your Way with a Glitter Lava Lamp Night Lite

As a frequent traveler, staying in numerous different hotels each month, I sometimes wake up and forget where I am.  Is this San Francisco?  Or Guadalajara?  Or am I at home?  It takes a few minutes to get my bearings.

lava lamp glitter nightlife In those dark hours of the night, or the foggy moments in my brain, I certainly don’t want to be wandering around trying to find the bathroom.  If I don’t know what city I’m in, how am I ever going to find the bathroom?!

A small nightlight, plugged into the bathroom, can illuminate a path when you really need it.  It’s not so bright that it will wake you up, yet will still provide a little glow if you need to find your way around.  They are easily packed, take up little room, and can be a lifesaver.  They’re just as handy for adults as they are for the kids.

One of my favorite night lights is this glitter lava lamp night light.  Plug it in turn it on, and you’ll harken back to the 60’s.  Just don’t stare at it too long after a night of partying!

For the record, yes, I really own this.  And pack it, and plug it in when I’m in a hotel room.  I have lots of other night lights, too, and frequently get them as gifts from friends who see one that I might enjoy.  They range from plain and boring to this 60’s retro look.

The glitter lava lamp night life can be found in your local discount store (Target, K-Mart, etc.).  It is also available online from Amazon for $3.99.
