I’m already seeing positive effects from Ergonomic Week

If anyone would have told me that I would be already seeing a positive effect from my Ergonomic Week now, I’d have thought they were nuts. I doubted that I’d see much difference at all, let alone by Monday night.
My neck pain is virtually gone.
Coincidence? Possibly – but I don’t think so. I still feel tightness and a bit of aching, but the stabbing pain when I was lying down last night wasn’t there.
This is what I’ve done so far:
On Saturday, I bought a keyboard drawer to replace the inconveniently placed one on my big work desk. I took the keyboard from my desktop and plugged it into my laptop. I put a big, 3.5 inch text book underneath my laptop to raise the screen.
On Sunday, I bought a document holder so I’m not looking down onto my desk when I’m typing something out. Oh – and I’m using it.
On Monday, I increased the size of the text on my screen so I could push it further away. I also learned that because of my keyboard drawer, I can’t cross my legs and sit on one hand anymore. It’s physically impossible.
And that’s all I’ve done. I have more in the works for the rest of the week and I’ll do a wrap up at the end of the week. How about you? Are you starting to make any changes?

Wow, Marijke, that is awesome! Good job.
