I’m Officially a Home School Mom
Today marked the last day my kids (all three of them) will endure the hardships of the school I’ve had so many issues with.
More details to come for sure – but for now, I have enrolled the kids in Keystone High School and Keystone Middle School online courses.
My husband was a hard sell but eventually agreed to let me pull my stepson out and get him going with the program too.
They were able to match the current schedules of the kids with one additional elective class they are going to love.
They will officially begin school on Monday – but the school seemed so anxious to get rid of them they did their withdraw forms today.
Thanks everyone for your support and words of encouragement. It’s going to be a real trip for sure – but one we are looking so forward to.

Congratulations!
You can do this.
And I suspect you’ll be happier with the results. There will be moments you’ll want to pull out your hair – or theirs! – but in the end I believe you won’t regret your decision.
I’ll keep you in my prayers.
I hope all goes well. My friend was homeschooled and she’s done well.
You IS one uv US now. MUHAHAHAHAHA
That’s great Gayla! There will be different kinds of challenges I’m sure, but it’s got to be better than what you’ve been going through with that horrible school.
So sorry that you have had such a difficult time with the public school system where you live.
I will keep you and your family in my prayers. I know you can do this because you are one smart cookie!
In the meantime, do not let that horrible school get away with what they have done.
You know you always have my support Gayla!

Cool! I’ve done the homeschool route myself, so I look forward to reading about your experience. My oldest is currently in an independent study program.
I wish your family great successs!
I’m so happy for you Gayla, I know you’ll just love it. I always did.
