I’m Too Sad for a Real Post Today

(www.livelywomen.com) — Last night, I found out that my mom’s dog, the dog I grew up with, died. When she called to tell me, her voice reminded me of the day she called me to tell me that my brother had died. For a heart-stopping moment, I thought something had happened to my other brother. I haven’t managed to shake the feeling yet. Thanks for bearing with me.
In the meantime, check out my guest posts at Weighting Line, where I spent two weeks filling in for Hope while she was busy evacuating due to hurricanes:

I’m sorry about your dog, and I’m sorry about the terrible association.
Sending some hugs your way.
I’m sorry for your shock, and for the loss of Rocky.
I bet he has all the Saltines he can handle now
It’s weird - I was compelled to get on Skype last night and look for you, for no other reason than to say hi, but you weren’t there.
I’m sorry Kristen. I know all too well how it feels.
Aw, the loss of a childhood pet is so devastating. I’m so sorry for your loss, Kristen.
Hugs,
Liberty
Thanks, you guys. The support and the hugs mean a lot, and it really, really help. I mean that. Thank you.
Kristen
That’s awful. I’m so sad for you and your mom.
Thanks, Cory. I’m going to visit her this weekend and bringing one of my dogs, and it seems like she is really looking forward to it.
