Imbee – Safe Social Networking

Imbee is that social network for tweens I was discussing earlier. Here’s a review of their site (4 stars) from Common Sense Media.

Does your tween want to blog, email, and social network like the big kids, but there’s no way you’d let her get an account on MySpace or any of the other popular online meeting places? Enter IMBEE, a product from IndustriousKids.com that was created with just that scenario in mind.

My oldest is on Imbee and she makes a beeline everyday after homework to get on her blog (and the only people that can see it is me and my husband at present). She feels grown up and is excited about giving expression to her thoughts. I love it.

I did a podcast with Tim Donovan, Founder and VP of Marketing and Public Relations that I think you’ll like.
