In-laws under siege, day 4

As we begin the 4th day of staying with our in-laws amidst our bathroom problems, there is an end in sight. I took a day off from work yesterday and worked on the bathroom and *hopefully* we’ll be able to sleep in our own bed again on Friday. My main concern with this whole upheaval has been any impact on my son. We’ve tried to keep his schedule as normal as possible and I must say he’s doing very well. I don’t think he really cares that much, he’s an awesome little dude.

All the piping in the bathroom has been replaced and I’ve begun the process of getting the new flooring in. My dad replaced the subflooring and yesterday I put down leveler, cement backer board and began tiling. There will be enough dry tile in place for the plumber to have a sink and toilet installed by Friday. We’re getting there.
