Inclusive – Not Exclusive

I would like to make it a point to those of you who’ve been readers of this Blog, and to anyone who may come in the future, that this Blog ought not be perceived as exclusive to alcoholics or any other one “class” of “addictive nature.”

I believe my “opinion” of the value of the 12 Steps of Recovery is shared by many. That opinion is that these steps can be applied, and will bring hope, to any suffering individual.

Please feel welcome here regardless of what your disease may be “categorized.”

I’ve added two new categories to the Blog – “Courage To Change” and “Heard At Meetings.” I’d love to have some running commentary on some of those silly, inane things we’ve all heard at meetings. Or, perhaps the sharing of some of the more profound, yet simple, things you’ve heard that have made a world of sense to you and helped with your recovery. Then we’ll post them in separate entries and see where the comments lead us. How’s that?
