Inexpensive Art Idea for the Home

The little touches you make to your home really give it personality and charm. Problem is, artwork and a decorator cost money. So you’ve got to be creative in order to make the most of your decorating dollar. A little imagination combined with some inspiration.

I’ve got the inspiration for you. I loved this idea, and even have the same frame (that I purchased from IKEA) already in my house. I was going to put a kind of scrapbook page in the frame (which would also work) but I liked this idea even more. Since I write poetry, I may even use of my own poems rather than a quote.

The person who did this piece called up a sign company and had them do a quote out of vinyl cling material. (Meaning, it should just come right off when you get tired of it.) She put the quote in the middle of the frame, and viola! A funky/personalized piece of art.
