Insanity Plea Likely for Lexus Fuller’s Mother

An article in today’s Peoria Journal-Star notes that attorneys plan an insanity plea in the case of Kellie Waremburg, the 32-year-old Illinois mother accused of attempting to kill her four-year-old daughter, Lexus Fuller, who has cerebral palsy.

The final three paragraphs of the Peoria Journal-Star article mention the “similar case” of Karen McCarron, who is accused of suffocating her three-year old daughter, Katherine McCarron, and whose attoneys “have not yet indicated what her defense will be.”
