Insight on Parenting Teens and Tweens – Speed Linking

There are a lot of great topics being discussed about tweens, teens and parenting them this week. Here are a few that I wanted to share:

If you have a middle school aged child, then Our Thinking should be on your list of daily reads. Locker Organization for Middle School Students is a very timely piece – I just had this discussion with my son about his backpack.

Gayle at Parenting Teens wants to know “Should There Be Two Different High School Diplomas?

Kathlynn at Love Shak, Baby has a good post on Talking to Our Teens About Drugs.

SuperNanny Rules author Gayla has had a rough week with one of her teens – When a Good Kid Goes Bad and  When a Child Becomes Disruptive. Anyone have any words of wisdom for her?

And somewhat unrelated – if you have a daughter, granddaughter or other doll fan, stop in at my other site, Casual Keystrokes to win a $25 gift certificate for doll clothes or furniture perfect for American Girl dolls.

Just wanted to say thanks for entering Char’s contest to win a gift certificate to our site. We left a coupon for those who didn’t win. Here it is:

Enter “chargiveaway” (without the quotation marks) in the coupon code at checkout and we will give you 10% off of your entire order. This offer is valid through Friday the 21st, so I would take Char’s advice and shop early for the Holidays (especially now when everything is in stock :-) )
