inspiration boards & walls

Here’s a shot of my inspiration pin board:

It tends to be a catch-all for little bits & pieces that spark creativity in me.  Scraps of lace, vintage jewelery, post cards, coffee labels – you name, it’s probably up there!

Design or inspiration boards can be a great organization or creativity tool.  They can allow you top see how little fragments may work together (or not) before they’re securely stitched down

I made mine during a faux-finishing workshop, but you don’t need to get fancy – a piece of cork or a ceiling tile covered with fabric will work just as well.
