Instant Journal Writing Prompts

If you’re looking for something to write about and don’t want to think too much about it, go and join in the discussion Shai is having with other bloggers right now. You can answer the three questions from the previous blogger and then add your own three questions. It’s a fun way to get writing and might spark some idea that you’d like to pursue later in your personal journal.

Thank you for your invitation to comment!
Writing, for me, has been a kind of portable shelter- I’ll even jot thoughts waiting on line at supermarkets and banks.
Your posting about writing-prompts reminded me about one of my own. Often, fresh thoughts come to me after good conversations, and I’ll stop to write, beginning with: “I heard myself say…”
Here’s a reflection about writing like this:

Hi Speculator,
I just love your name, also your description of your journal being a ‘portable shelter.’ How apt. Thanks for sharing your reflective journal entry. I’ll be sure to read it this afternoon. Thanks again for commenting.
Thanks….I’ll give it a try.
Hi Terry,
Thanks for your comment. I hope you joined in the play over at Shai’s blog.
