There’s been a lot of noise about the The Freedom Writers Diary book in the press recently. Since it’s been made into a film starring Hilary Swank there’s been even more. Watch an interview with the teacher, Erin Gruwell, who started it all here.

Tris shared this with me in a comment recently, but I thought I’d post it just in case you missed the comment. The interview was originally aired on CBC’s The Hour.

Yes, it was an excellent film. I’ve watched it several times now and could watch it again and again. Thanks for leaving a comment. ;-)
