Gayla, of Mom Gadget!

mg.jpg

Gayla specializes in writing about gadgets, gizmos, and domestic bliss. Since I’m a total tool-junkie, I love her blog and I think you will too :-) Gayla answered a few questions for me about her early and present art experiences:

My favorite art project was learning to sew and crochet with my grandmother. She taught me how to sew well enough that I took Reserve Champion at the Indiana State Fair when I was in 5th grade. Looking back now, it was the most hideous flowered fabric I ever saw. I made a skirt and top that had a butterfly in the same fabric as the skirt. I think my mom still has it put up somewhere.

My creative outlet away from my computer would be crocheting. I never did lose interest. I also love to bake.
