introductions

Hello all, I just wanted to post a brief introduction before I get to posting.  First of all, thank you Cathy for doing such a great job!

I’m a professional artist (mainly art quilts) designer & puppeteer.  I’ve been sewing most of my own clothes since my teens, and have branched into lots of different areas of needlework over the years.  I trained as a painter, but these days, I prefer to create art with fabric (and a few other little goodies thrown in for good measure!)
I share my life with my fiance (who doesn’t seem to mind a basement full of fabric boxes) as well as our dogs, birds, guinea pig, snail & amazing leaping fish.  I’m getting married this summer, so hopefully everyone will be tolerant of a few wedding related posts
