Invention Prompt

During a conversation the other night I commented that there had to be a better way to shop. I’m always complaining about this necessary activity, mostly because I loathe the time wasted tracking up and down the aisles. I always end up searching and searching for one particular item. When I ask, it turns out they’ve moved where they stock that item on the shelf.
That’s just one of my pet peeves about shopping. As I groaned about it I described in great detail my solution to this problem. I invented my hassle free way of shopping. Who knows how realistic my solution is, but it was certainly an idea for the future.
Today spend some time writing in your journal working on a solution to a problem you have in your day to day life. It could be at work or in the home. It might just be like mine, a minor complaint you have over the way things are done now. Who knows, you may come up with a useful way to reduce smog, traffic or just make a job easier. A lot of inventions are created by ordinary people with a need for a simpler life.
