The officials in Northern Ireland are planning a renewable power project and the beneficiaries would be some 19 schools in the area. The project would make use not only of solar power but it would also be taking power from the wind. This is certainly a grand idea for the students would be exposed to renewable power and how we all benefit from that.

This project is actually the second phase of the Switch on Schools plan. September of last year, the first phase was already completed and renewable power technologies were installed and put into good use at 51 schools.

The head of the whole project states that children would be able to learn about renewable energy and how the use of such power helps us battle climate change. She also disclosed that by this scheme, children would be able to absorb the difference that we all can do to help out our environment.
