Iron Chef Cat Cora Pregnant

And so is her wife! I feel like I’ve been living under a rock because I had no idea Chef Cora was a lesbian — you learn something new everyday. Cat Cora is one of five chefs on Food Network’s popular Iron Chef America.

Cat and her partner, Jennifer Cora, were both inseminated by the same donor, though Cat is actually carrying Jennifer’s biological child (a boy!), and Jennifer is carrying a baby from either one, as embryos from both women were implanted.

Jennifer is due in April and Cat is due three months later in July. The couple already have two older sons from the same donor they used for their current pregnancies, so all the children are biologically related.

Says Cat: “Jennifer and I are thrilled to go through the wonderful experience of pregnancy together. We started the in-vitro process 5 years ago. This has been a miracle for us and we’ll now have 4 beautiful children.”
