Those kids need to be held responsible for their actions, not Ellen Paige or Katherine Heigl. So do their parents. I take little opportunities like this news story to discuss these things with my 12 year old. I told her those girls were being really naive, and that they have no idea what they are getting themselves into. Having a baby isn't something that should be treated like joining an exclusive club or as a way to be loved. It's hard work, especially for someone who is still trying to grow up and find out who they are. I agree with everything you said.
