To prosecute this as a crime seems excessive. As a parent, you have many options available. Take away the phone, anyone remember being grounded? Does anyone do that anymore? I love Christie’s idea about Community Service. I had an abused friend and experienced things that opened my eyes.

Unbelievable. Sounds like someone looking for attention and she got it. She should be disciplined. As to the people who received teh pictures, I can’t see how they could be punished.

I don’t see how you punish the other girls for what someone sent them on their phone. That makes no sense to me. Punish the perpetrator. Take away her cell phone for a year. Give her community service, maybe with abused children.

This young girl needs direction. If I were the judge I would take away the girls cell phone and internet capability. I would intervene with top notch counceling. It is apparent this girl needs some direction and guidance.
