Is Potter 8 a Hoax – or part of an elaborate WB scheme?

Is an 8th Harry Potter book really on the way? What is the significance of James Potter and the Hall of Elder’s Crossing? Is this website a hoax?

The Elder’s Crossing website features a short video clip and sketches of characters focusing on the elder Potter, Harry’s father, James. Many fans believe that the site marks the debut of this “bonus” Potter book, but that it is not authored by J.K. Rowling.

Rowling has previously said that she will not write another Harry Potter book, a possibly deliberate word choice not lost on fans. Does this mean that Rowling is keeping the door open to the possibility of books about other Potter characters?

Warner Bros, the company that brought Harry Potter to the big screen and owns many rights related to the Potter series, is believed to be behind the website. WB has yet to confirm or deny its involvement in the “secret test marketing.”

I love the Potter books, and I would love to see more done with them or just more done with his wizarding world. I could totally understand Rowling coming out with a prequel. It would clear up many things, I’m sure.

I am a devoted Harry Potter fan, and I know that this is a fake. I want to believe it, but JK Rowling clearly said ” I want to fall in love with something llike I did with Harry.” I heard her say it with my own eyes, I saw her. I also love writing, and I know when an idea comes to you, it takes time to finally say ” I am going to write a book.” J.K. is probably going to end up writing a book like this, but not now. And if she does it WON’T be Harry Potter 8. She will begin a new series probably…. She also said “I am done with Harry.” when I saw her.
