Is summertime “Ana” time?

I started my journey with Ana in the summer between seventh and eighth grade.

Now, I’m beginning to wonder if summer isn’t a popular season for Ana to come knocking on doors?

First of all, there aren’t too many holidays to celebrate — meaning fewer food “conventions” than you’d find in the winter months, especially November through the beginning of January.

Secondly, it’s tough to want to eat when it’s really hot outside.  I’ve had to force myself lately to eat more than a smoothie for lunch.

Third, “everybody” is on a diet over the summer, right?  At least a good number people I know are restricting their food intake to look decent in shorts, bikinis, et cetera.

Don’t get me wrong — I’m not justifying my eating disorder, nor am I blaming it on a season of the year.  It’s just a theory that began rattling in my noggin this morning…
