Isobe Maki Mochi

This is simply a toasted/broiled/grilled mochi cake wrapped in seaweed, then dipped in soy sauce (or soy sauce with a bit of sugar if desired). My kids love this for breakfast!

    I love this dish, I’ll go and buy a pack of mochi from the store and grill it and the whole family pigs out! yummmmm

    Isobe Maki is so simple, just buy mochi at any Japanese grocery store, then cook them with pan or toast them with oven toaster, then wrap em around with nori seaweed:)
