It’s true.
There is actually a National Answer Your Cat’s Question Day, and it’s today. It’s just another oddball American holiday (like What if Cats and Dogs Had Opposable Thumbs Day in March).
I often wonder what my cat is asking me with his mews and expressions. Sometimes I know by his tone or body language, but other times I’m left guessing.
If Choco could ask me questions, I’m guessing he’d ask:
• Why do you sit at the computer so much?
• Why won’t you let me chew on the plastic bag around the bread?
• Where do you go when you leave?
• Why don’t you cook fresh fish for me?

I would think Lily would ask me “Why did you bring that new boy in the house to live? I was the baby around here until he came!” So she runs at him hissing. He is so thankful to be inside he diplomatically moves out of the way. When he enters the livingroom he checks the places she might be hiding in wait like under the rocking chair or in her cat cubby under the diningroom table. Quite a gentleman!
