It’s National Volunteer Week!

Earth Day is officially over.
Arbor Day is so last Friday (technically). But National Volunteer Week is just beginning.
What can you do to connect science, health and the environment near you? Go to www.1-800-volunteer.org to find out.
A quick search of volunteer opportunities within a 10 mile radius of my own neighborhood brought up 3 pages of results! See for yourself. You can specify your areas of interest and expertise – health and the environment are among the choices.
Have fun!
