It’s Not Too Late to Join the Pink Ribbon Review Denim Day Team

It’s not too late to join the Pink Ribbon Review Denim Day Team for Lee National Denim Day.
Just plan on wearing jeans on Friday, October 3, 2008 and make a $5 contribution to the Women’s Cancer Programs of the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF) via our team page (here’s a link: The Pink Ribbon Review Denim Day Team Page).
Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to the EIF to:
- Fund Lee Laboraties (working to find more effective, less toxic breast cancer treatments)
- Develop a blood test for earlier detection
- Helping the National Breast Cancer Coalition create online and print resources for advocate training and patient education

Now … I just have to get my laundry done … just a few more days to go!

Thanks, Karen, for this great post! I did it…I joined the team and I’ll be wearing pink on October 3rd. I’ll be in San Diego for my brother’s wedding, but I don’t think they’ll mind that I wear denim to the rehearsal dinner (it’s for a good cause!).
My mom and I are both breast cancer survivors and I’ll be sure she wears her denim too!
