It’s Spring Break time for some
In an example of colossally poor planning, everyone in my family is on Spring Break this week except me.
Nearly all my work days are the same, there are very few times that there’s a day I absolutely can’t miss. However, this week is one of the times I can’t miss. And to top it off? I’m the one who inadvertently scheduled it this way.
So, usually I’d write something here about vacations and spending time with kids, but I think I’ll just sulk over there in the corner instead.
We’ll do better next year, we may even plan ahead and go somewhere.
I hope you’ve had some time off and have gotten to enjoy Spring Break or the Easter holiday with your family.
In one of those reason’s I am glad I have only one child, my daughter’s school is off this week, but her best friend, who has an older sister in another school (in a different town) is NOT off, they will be off in April, so her mother has to take off two weeks.
It’s spring break week here, and I can’t get off work for most of it either, so the whole family took off without me
. My stepdaughter’s drama class is going to New York City, and my husband is one of the chaperones; meanwhile, my stepson has gone to his grandma’s for the week.
Come to think of it, maybe this is a vacation for me after all…
