Jon and Kate plus 8

I I saw this woman who had sextuplets on Oprah last week. When they told her she was pregnant with an entire litter of babies she had the only rational and sane response I’ve ever heard of – she had a mini-nervous breakdown and had to be immediately hospitalized for shock. I imagine I might have the same response. I think having one baby at a time is a lot of stress and always prayed I would not have twins to double my stress. But, sextuplets. . . reminds me of that old ‘80s song by, who?, maybe REM, I think that God’s got a sick sense of humor and when I die, I expect to find him laughing.
May I recommend a new show on the Discovery Health Channel, Jon and Kate plus 8. This seemingly normal couple got married and seemed destined for an average life, then they had twins. Okay, still pretty normal existence now that the twins are weaned and out of diapers. Then Kate, and Jon will never let her forget it, wants one more baby – a sibling for their twin girls. Jon thinks, hey two is plenty, let’s just go about our normal life. Kate insists on one more. I bought one and got five free, she says on the show.
I love this type of television because it makes me feel so abundantly blessed to not be quite so abundantly blessed.
I mean, thank you God for not blessing me with twins and sextuplets!
If any family deserves their own television show it has to be this one. They have a dry sense of humor and really, that might be the only way they will survive. It’s a really good show about their day to day existence which is now anything but ordinary. Their grocery bill at Sams was over $1,000. Think about paying that bill next time your checking out. Could you even cover that and your mortgage?
It’s great family television to watch with your kids. I seriously giggle in sympathy every time I see this family. Then I quickly want to throw salt over my shoulder and knock on some wood to somehow prevent anything similar from happening to me.

oh great, …now i’m being investigated. Was it just me or was i just accused of being a pervert. If u want to know the real story my mom watches it. well she’s obsessed with it. So i watch it with her sometimes because i have nothing better to do. And OFCOURSE NOT! i believe that to be a little like a stereotype…sure guys my age are pretty well disgusting but i’m not like that. this isn’t even funny anymore. And for those who are complaining about “children” watching it and commenting. well you know shouldn’t that mean something if it’s the kids who stick up for them and are the only ones being mature enough to say hey smarten up, u don’t have a right to critisize. i’m sorry but i have never said anything to be mean to any of you, but now your not only critisizing the Gosselins, but now your also critisizing and accusing me. And i’m looking for exactly what you are the internet. I like them (THE FAMILY) not the little girls! I am not A petifile! If it’s going to be a problem that i’m blogging on here the i’ll leave. I’m sorry i didn’t know that this site was only for a certain gendre between certain ages.

and btw my mom has been on this blog before, that is how i heard of it. She went by “Meg”. until she got fed up with the rudeness and stopped commenting.
I think people forget that these people are doing what they can to raise 8 kids.I think they do sometimes take advantage of their special circumstances,and that Kate is a tad bit unrealistic.But I give them credit for doing what they can,guess if any of us were in there shoes we probable do the same as they are.I do feel bad for John cuz he isn’t that old and while Kate is content,I think he hasn’t gotten all of his youthism out!
i am well aware of what my daughter is doing on the internet so mind your own kids thanks. and its only a tv show you need to teach your children what life is really about its not the worlds job. LINDA

I don’t know what happen but it submited my comment before i was finish anyway as i was saying she made a mistake but what the HELL does that have to do with this blog about Jon & Kate. I just don’t understand why people are steady watching but then say they don’t like the show.Then don’t watch simply as that.I believe you people watch just to have something to talk about .And as for as Josh watching it at 16 what the problem my son is 15 and he likes it he is the one that got me watching it. So i would like seeing these kids watch this show instead of some of them other showa that come on with the cursing ,sex violence.etc this is a clean family show no I don’t agree with everything they no but guess what it is none of my business

The puppies you have bought for the kids chrismas present it was thought full but are you crazy it is hard to train one for three months but two now that is a challage so my advice is to potty train them leave them in one room for nine weeks and stick a cat litter box in the place where they are and just like the kids tell them right from wrong like if they do something right tell good boy or girl and if they did something wrong tell them no in a vary ferm voice. They need constant around the clock servalance and care so they don’t do anything wrong and they need lots of love and after three or four months of training they should be ready to go out side and practice there but you need to wait about twenty minutes till they now that they need to do there bisness out there. then reaward them on a job well done.A nd thats how to house train a dog take this from some one who has a dog just like yours it wasn’t easy but aftera while he obayed me and was fully potty trained.
I’m scared.

Yeah and I agree Josh is not a pedofile. That was a bit of a reach. Just when someone starts sounding somewhat educated they have to go and say something like that!!

I have a major problem with Kate’s attitude. She is way too bossy and ignorant to what she says to people without even considering how it affects others. Not to mention how she talks down to Jon with or without the kids present. I haven’t watch “Every” Episode, however I’ve watched enough to see that you will never, EVER, hear Kate say she is flat out wrong on something. If she is caught in the wrong she will find something to comment on to share blame so she doesnt bear the full load. And that quality is complete garbage. She’s a one way communicator and I have no respect for someone like that. In fact I’ll go as far to say If I we’re Jon, I would have kicked a person like that out of my life a long time ago…theres no excuse for a grownup to behave like that…NO EXCUSE people.
It’s a defense mechanism that a lot of people have. There’s another one called projection. Projection means that when you talk about a quality that someone has…good or bad…that you have that same quality. You can’t see a quality that you don’t see in yourself. Basic Psychology.
Listen people, I used to love their show, but kate doesnt work which is understandable, but Jon has quit his job as well, TLC has paid for everything they have, all of their vacations are paid for, TLC bought their new house, Kate never really explained why her parents arent in their lives, well its because they got donations from their home church when the six were first born and had used cribs donated, well Kate wanted new cribs and refused to take the church donated ones and her parents wouldnt tell their church family that she refused them so she cut them out of her life, she is a terrible person and is teaching her children horrifble values, she recently cut her sister-in-law out of their lives, after everythign she had done for them
kate is rude… that is all there is to it, joh is very tender hearted to put up with her, she is spoiled, and I hope you all know when the camera is off, she is really bad… come on, free stuff, all she is interested in, and she hates it when a person asks for a picture be taken with her… well, its the people who have made her stupid show, she has more help then anyone of you know, so whats the big deal?? I raised all my children, feed them, worked, cleaned my self, never put my husband down or treated him in a rude way. she is tricking no one… she is terrible, so , no I dont watch anymore after seeing that they now got a million dollar home given to them too, and she was even more rude… if you want to watch, good for you, enjoy, but the rest of us know the truth and have given up on the silly crap.

..Jon and Kate were married and taking care of their twins when she got pregnant for her second set of multiples…I think any Doctor that implants a woman with more than 3 eggs should loose his license!!!!!!!!! That also includes Jon and Kate’s Doctor…They were fortunate enough to find a medium that was interested in their family, Lucky them…How many People want to watch more than one show about an over bearing, controlling Wife and pussy whipped Husband and 8 Kids…One is quite enough..
I actually think that Kate got implanted with 2 eggs…and that they just kept multiplying. I remember seeing the episode where she said that they were expecting maybe twins. The doctors usually plant more than one because there is always a large chance that one of them won’t attach to the uterine wall. I think i remember that what happened was they kept going back to the doctor and they said “oh now there is 3″ next time “4″ next time”5″ next time “6″…the thing is those kids looks so much alike that the 3 girls have to be identical and the three boys have to be identical…
I personaly think that jon and kate are doing fine raising there kids if any one thinks thay can do it better you got problems

okay not judging but you honestly think that you can take 8 kids (6 4 yr olds and 2 8 yr olds<< or however old thy r) and raise them all so amazingly without making any mistakes while having a camera in your face twice a week and having a blog critisizing every thing you do?? really? we’ll hav to test tht one out sometime. ^o)
i know what it’s like to live with someone like that….and deep deep deep… inside they are still real ppl. Kate isn’t a bad person shes just a control freak which she admitted to. so i don’t see y u guys r still tlking bout it. and Jon isn’t that hard done by…get real!

OMG Jon and Kate if you break up I would cry my eyes out you and my kid are my life. I know it sounds alittle stalkerish but i watch your show every week and never missed an episode my fav. one is the one when Hannah pooped and Alexis said “Hannah pooped.” and then your producer said ” she pooped.” and then alexis nodded her head and was likein hannahs underwear.” and that just crackes me up.

I have friends that were in a restaurant here in Hershey,Pa. and over heard a conversation about John and Kate. They said it was to bad that John is living in a hotel, apparently they have been separated for sometime but the public is oblivious to it. They have a contract, andf must live up to it. Also where is Kates red haired sister in law? I hear because of a money issue they have not spoken. I think Kate is a selfish, arrogant person.
Kate is a B—H Jon isn`t living with kate she will throw him under the bus like she has done to her whole family…but your right they have a contract they have to finish….Jon needs to stay gone Kate has made an ass out of him far to long…
