when I was younger I watched the Duggers. I loved the show because I was amazed how they managed that many kids, not because I wanted that many kids. Although I admit that all I have ever wanted to be was just a housewife. I love kids to death…my dad has 5 sisters. I have 7 cousins from 3 of those aunts. My dad and my mom had 4 kids…I am the oldest of all of the grandchildren on my dad’s side…and most of them have been born in the past 7 years…and I am 19 this month. So they are like my kids. The point is…and I realize I go off on tangets…that you can watch the show without wanting that many kids…most of them just like watching the cute little kids and the way they act….a lot of them probably don’t have any siblings of their own…

I don’t think she has emotional problems. I think that she is a loner. She doesn’t like being around a lot of people. I was a lot like her when I was a kid. I had to share a room with my younger brother. I have 3 younger brothers. I still don’t like to be around a lot of other people. It gives me a headache and stresses me out. Now think about being like that and being in a house with your mom…your dad…your twin sister…your 6 younger siblings(which if they were different ages wouldn’t be such a bad thing but all of them hitting the terrible twos at the same time? come on!)and a camera crew? On top of that you feel like you have to be on your best behavior all the time because the entire country is watching you…well…she just wants to act like a kid…but mom needs her to help with the kids…When I was a kid, my mom was working, going to college…and had to come home and feed us…my dad was lazy, didn’t care, and was gone all the time…so I had to take care of my younger siblings who wouldn’t listen to me…what did I do? Hit.

i can answer the question about why one of them wears glasses at such a young age. When you have multiples there is always a chance that one will have a problem. He needed glasses so what? That’s a lucky break…a lot of times they have worse problems than that. All of my brothers and I have had glasses since kindergarten. I won’t be surprised if I need bifocals in my 20’s my eyes are progressing so bad. A lot of people are born with eye problems but they just aren’t noticeable because kids eyes are born blurry and then progress into either good eyesight, or eyesight that needs glasses. Most kids eye problems aren’t noticeable until they hit kindergarten when they have to look at the blackboard. They go every year to the eye doctor to make sure that there aren’t any problems left over from being a set of six. They use eyedrops on babies so that’s how they knew that he needed glasses. It’s not a bad thing. At least they caught it early.

I actually think that Kate got implanted with 2 eggs…and that they just kept multiplying. I remember seeing the episode where she said that they were expecting maybe twins. The doctors usually plant more than one because there is always a large chance that one of them won’t attach to the uterine wall. I think i remember that what happened was they kept going back to the doctor and they said “oh now there is 3″ next time “4″ next time”5″ next time “6″…the thing is those kids looks so much alike that the 3 girls have to be identical and the three boys have to be identical…

It’s a defense mechanism that a lot of people have. There’s another one called projection. Projection means that when you talk about a quality that someone has…good or bad…that you have that same quality. You can’t see a quality that you don’t see in yourself. Basic Psychology.

QUESTION?
I have friends that were in a restaurant here in Hershey,Pa. and over heard a conversation about John and Kate. They said it was to bad that John is living in a hotel, apparently they have been separated for sometime but the public is oblivious to it. They have a contract, andf must live up to it. Also where is Kates red haired sister in law? I hear because of a money issue they have not spoken. I think Kate is a selfish, arrogant person.

I think people forget that these people are doing what they can to raise 8 kids.I think they do sometimes take advantage of their special circumstances,and that Kate is a tad bit unrealistic.But I give them credit for doing what they can,guess if any of us were in there shoes we probable do the same as they are.I do feel bad for John cuz he isn’t that old and while Kate is content,I think he hasn’t gotten all of his youthism out!
