Journal Writing Date

September 20, 2007 by Heather Goldsmith
Filed under Home & Living

Just over the weekend and the last few days I’ve been incredibly busy. So busy I haven’t had my usual afternoon journal sessions. Today I made a journal date, a bit like an artist date, and sat for a while and played in my journal. I didn’t worry too much about catching up with the events of the last few days, although these events did naturally find their way into my pages as I wrote. It’s remarkable how unburdened I felt as I sat and wrote.

Sometimes when life gets too hectic, it might work to make a date to enjoy a journal writing session. It might mean writing in your calendar or planner. Do whatever it takes to grab the chance to gain the benefits of writing in your journal through the crazy times, too.
